Matt Pratt-Hyatt – Chief Science Officer, KBMO Diagnostics
Welcome to the Next Generation of KBMO. As a new part of the team here, I cannot express how excited I am to be a part of the KBMO family. As the Chief Science Officer, I am in charge of scientific studies, education, and test development.

For the last 20 years I have been working on studying ways to improve personalized medicine. From my time at University of Michigan, to Great Plains Laboratory, to Real Time Labs, I have learned so much about what good science looks like and what leads to good patient outcomes. Since my time in Human Biology class with one of my favorite teachers, I have learned about the promise of personalized medicine. In some ways medicine has failed in this promise, however, I have since seen tools being developed that will help practitioners give a much more personalized health plan to their patients. I have also played a key role in developing these tools myself.

Powerful Tools for Better Clinical Outcomes
At KBMO we are working on providing the tools for practitioners to deliver personalized healthcare. The first test I am bringing on board is our organic acids test, the Metabolic Insights Profile (MIP). Please read my other blog on how our take on organic acids is different to others.  In addition, we will be working with practitioners in conducting studies to determine why some treatments work on some patients but not on others (which is really why personalized healthcare is necessary).

Please continue to come back to the KBMO website for updates and information on our new practitioner webinars and blogs, and please interact with us on social media too. We are here for the community and we are here for you. KBMO is owned and run by scientists, for practitioners. It is where science leads the way.

Supporting Practitioners

KBMO will continue to provide great testing with quick turnaround times.  We will also continue to provide consultations with practitioners and a variety of clinical support materials.

I will be starting to provide consultations with practitioners and will also be traveling around the country to multiple conferences, speaking both at the podium and with attendees at the KBMO exhibition booth. Please stop by and say hello – I’d love to chat.
